South Forsyth Animal Hospital is proud to be an accredited member of the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA). Our accreditation demonstrates our commitment to the highest standards of veterinary care. AAHA regularly inspects our hospital to ensure that we comply with the association's standards for facilities, equipment, and quality procedures. These standards cover nearly every aspect of our hospital, including surgery, pharmacy, laboratory, exam facilities, medical records, cleanliness, emergency services, dental and nursing care, diagnostic imaging, and anesthesiology. AAHA standards are recognized around the world as the benchmark for quality care in veterinary medicine.

American Association of Feline Practitioners (AAFP)

South Forsyth Animal Hospital

Routine medical care is just as important for cats as it is for dogs, but many pet owners are reluctant to bring their felines for veterinary care because it seems to be so stressful for them. At South Forsyth Animal Hospital we recognize that cats are not small dogs - they have special wants and needs. To support this, we have integrated a feline perspective into our practice, both in the physical environment of the practice as well as the way in which medical care is delivered. A separate cat waiting area, separate feline-only exam rooms, slower-paced physical exams, and minimization of restraint are examples of this integration. We know we cannot eliminate the stress you and your cat feel about a veterinary visit, but together we can significantly reduce it!

Both doctors are also members of the AAFP. To learn more about the American Association of Feline Practitioners, go to their website at www.catvets.com.
